Mr. Turlington is a Senior Advisor with EIG, having primary responsibility for geotechnical evaluation of opportunities and assets. A geologist with equally broad geological and geophysical experience, he has worked for a number of major and independent oil companies during the past 40 years. Mr. Turlington spent more than half of his career living and working in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Europe where he held a variety of roles ranging from development geology to exploration geophysics. He has successfully drilled wells on four continents and has evaluated opportunities in a great number of the world’s petroleum basins. Mr. Turlington earned his degree in geology from Tulane University. He is a Certified Petroleum Geologist and a Fellow of the Geological Society of London.
