Mr. Klein is Head of North America for MidOcean Energy. Prior to joining MidOcean, he had a 22 year career with Shell and BG Group. His most recent role before joining MidOcean was as President and  CEO of LNG Canada, where he led the successful construction, commissioning and startup of Canada’s first LNG export project. Over the course of his career, Jason held senior upstream and LNG leadership roles in the USA, Canada, UK, Oman and Australia, including VP US LNG, VP Canada Integrated Gas, Chief of Staff to President of Shell USA and Deputy General Counsel of BG Group. Mr. Klein holds a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelors degree in Finance and Political Science from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
