Mr. Mears joined MidOcean Energy in 2024 as Senior Vice President. Mr. Mears served previously as Vice President of Strategy, Integration and Corporate Affairs at Neptune Energy, where he led strategy development, investor and corporate relations, and ESG. He played a pivotal role in transaction and integration management relating to the Group’s sale to Eni. Prior to his tenure at Neptune Energy, he held senior leadership positions at Anglo American’s De Beers Group, working across Africa, Asia and North America. Mr. Mears was responsible for financial and corporate affairs at Centrica plc and led corporate and investor relations for the IPO of Britvic plc.
