Ms Morton joined MidOcean Energy in June 2025 as Head of Corporate Accounting. Prior to joining MidOcean Energy, she spent 6 years at Neptune Energy establishing and managing the accounting and reporting processes for 8 corporate entities. Ms Morton began her career in Accounting General Practice (including 2 years at Ernst & Young), dealing with audits, statutory accounts preparation, tax, payroll and VAT. Subsequently, she worked for 3 years at BG Group/Shell as a Technical Accounting and Assurance Accountant, before moving to a Group Finance Manager role at Spectris plc. Ms Morton completed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification (UK) and holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Portsmouth (UK).
