Ricardo Leandro is the Group Treasurer at MidOcean Energy. Previously, he served as the Group Treasurer for Neptune Energy, where he spent 6 years establishing and managing the company’s treasury and financial risk management functions. Prior to his role at Neptune Energy, Mr Leandro was the Group Treasurer for Nyrstar in Switzerland.  He also has 14 years of experience working for Shell and BHP Billiton, where held various finance jobs, including Brazil CFO. Mr Leandro holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculdade de Economia at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Cranfield School of Management. He is a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (UK) and an alumnus of the CFO Programme at London Business School.
