Shun Ling Yap joined MidOcean Energy in 2026 as LNG Originator and Commercial Manager. Prior to MidOcean Energy, Shun was involved in various LNG-related roles, working with LNG carriers in NYK, marketing in Mexico Pacific, marketing, shipping and analytical support across TotalEnergies’ upstream LNG projects, including Mozambique LNG, and analytics for Gazprom Singapore. Shun graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) with First Class Honours in International Relations and History, and also holds a double masters in International Affairs from Peking University and the LSE
